Inaugural Thrift Story CU Sale at August Urbana First Friday, outside 25 O'Clock Brewing Company. See the Facebook event: Proceeds from this sale will be donated to Champaign County Environmental Stewards (CCES), a non-profit community organization focused on providing safe and convenient disposal options to area residents for household materials that may pose potential health or environmental problems. This includes not only typical categories of household hazardous waste, but also hard to recycle materials (e.g. TVs and other electronics, mattresses, carpets, etc.) which are currently headed to the landfill. May 4, 2018: Revelry Market: Again, this won't be a sale for our project, but while you're checking out the local artisans' booths, stop by ours to learn more about the project and to donate items with their backstories to be sold at our upcoming first sale (details TBA)!

April 6, 2018: Urbana First Fridays. We won't be having a sale, but we'll be at Lincoln Square Mall as part of this event to promote the concept of Thrift Story CU.
